The location was magnificent, close to Cairns Regional Council. It was located in a shopping area right by the lagoon, restaurants, cafes, taxi rank, supermarket, pubs and bars, shops and nightlife and the waterfront, Cairns Central and Casino. The food was nice, drinks were warm.

Updated premium plus queen room with views of the rear. With an electric kettle and a refrigerator. Centrally based in amazing area.

The rooms were adequate and the location was great. An oceanarium and eateries were close to the place.

The units are great-sized with a king bed.

Had a real good stay for one night, glad I've chosen it. The hotel was placed in the central location by taxi for an early morning flight. It was also next to railway and waterfront, the centre of Cairns and most attractions:)))

Make sure you stay in the double room with a bathroom, the shower or toilet and single bed. The price is £ 62. The positives include marvellous and unbeatable location and parking nearby.

The venue was wonderful old, I enjoyed the stay and the location was marvellous close to shopping, and eateries. I had airy, functional room with tea, aircon, washing machines. Coffee, tea, toast, cereals and boiled eggs provided for breakfast was fantastic! The pool was nice and I had hot drinks in the Irish bar. Moreover, they offered public parking on-site. Cairns Regional Gallery was centrally located close to the hotel.

Unbeatable and awesome location not too far away from Cairns Zoom And Wildlife Dome. Exceptionally nice room with share bathroom and climate control, a private safe and multi-channel television.

It was centrally positioned for easy access to Cairns Regional Council.

It was fairly clean, the stuff was efficient and extremely friendly, plus the service was great. The breakfast had a wide range of options and coffee, tea, toast, cereal and boiled eggs where nice. The location of the hotel was good and perfect - relatively near Cairns Regional Council. And it was close to convention centres and banks. My stay here was very pleasant.

My favourite property in Cairns. Great-sized hotel unit where gillian's bar is. A tea and coffee maker, a storage space, and a safe were convenient. All in all particularly good setting very close to all restaurants, bars, bus station and the pier and railway station. Plus, walking distance to Cairns Regional Gallery.

The views of the rear where lovely and the stuff members were incredibly nice and very pleasant. The hotel was centrally located very close to a bustling indoor market.

I stayed in the old section of the hotel and it had a charming and historic feel. The shared bathroom was clean and I found the room to be comfortable and affordable. The cleaners were efficient and always had a smile. The wide veranda was a great spot for breakfast and people-watching. The location was convenient for exploring the area, with the marina just a short walk away. I had a pleasant and relaxing stay at Hides Hotel.
